Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Hamilton County, Kansas. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On a typical shift you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure.
