Fabricator-welder • Ikom, Cross River State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ikom, Cross River State. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
