Tracked excavator operator wanted in Middlesbrough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Middlesbrough, England. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Day to day you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Full-time with occasional weekends.
