Furnace operator — Agra

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Pay around ₹29,500 per month, based on your experience.
