Machine operator (earthworks) • Pasco County, Florida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Pasco County, Florida. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. On the job you will handle: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) 5+ years on the tools preferred.
