Core maker — Andoni

Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Andoni, Rivers State. On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₦1,750 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
