We are recruiting: bricklayer (Jigawa State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Garki, Jigawa State. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Full-time with occasional weekends.
