Gantry crane operator wanted in Akoko-Edo

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Akoko-Edo, Edo. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
