Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Jefferson County, Nebraska. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
