Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Jibia, Katsina State. The job is on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
