Steel erection rigger wanted in Wise County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Wise County, Texas. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Full-time with occasional weekends.
