Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Antelope County, Nebraska. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
