Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Mangan, Sikkim. The job is in a toolroom. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts.
