Port container crane operator — Sumter County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Sumter County, Georgia. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
