Ironing operator • Rano, Kano State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Rano, Kano State. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets You will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts.
