Cnc lathe operator — Wayne County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Wayne County, Illinois. Day to day you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
