Now hiring: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Fillmore County, Minnesota. Day to day you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits.
