Commis chef — Karnes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Karnes County, Texas. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Requirements: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays On a typical shift you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
