Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Unuimo, Imo State. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. 5+ years on the tools preferred. ₦295,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
