Bricklayer — Oguta

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Oguta, Imo State. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day to day you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
