Bakery assistant • Adams County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Adams County, Ohio. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
