Trainee butcher — Kogi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Kogi, Kogi State. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
