Vacancy available: excavator operator (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Henry County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Day-to-day duties: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
