Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lyon County, Nevada. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
