Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Comanche County, Kansas. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
