Gantry crane operator wanted in Thayer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Thayer County, Nebraska. You will work on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
