Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks The role involves: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
