We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Bailey County, Texas. You will work at a halal meat counter. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
