Brick and block layer — Freestone County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Freestone County, Texas. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
