Counter butcher • Mashegu, Niger State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Mashegu, Niger State. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Your main tasks: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦1,400 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
