You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Day to day you will set up and start the machine as per the job card; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing.
