Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Sandusky County, Ohio. The job is at a plant nursery. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Day to day you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed.
