Confectioner — Preble County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Preble County, Ohio. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. On the job you will handle: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
