Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Irion County, Texas. You will work in a public park. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish On a typical shift you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings.
