Vacancy available: press operator (Assam)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Kamrup Metropolitan, Assam. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Your main tasks: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Ideally you have familiar with die setting and quick tool changes; ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred; knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
