Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Monroe County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Score the top of loaves before baking Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
