360 excavator operator — Wayne County

Join our team: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Wayne County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
