Join our team: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Grant County, Kansas. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
