Ladle pourer — Shanono

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Shanono, Kano State. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Full-time, day shift.
