Sheet metal press operator — Oldham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Oldham County, Texas. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On the job you will handle: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
