Toolroom milling operator — Okeechobee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Okeechobee County, Florida. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Full-time, day shift.
