Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Concho County, Texas. The job is at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
