Garment presser — Bexar County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Bexar County, Texas. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. The role involves sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
