Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Boone County, Illinois. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands.
