Crawler dozer operator • Smith County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Smith County, Texas. The job is at a busy earthworks site. Day to day you will refuel the machine and record running hours; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. Requirements: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels 5+ years on the tools preferred.
