Digger driver — Champaign County

Now hiring: we are hiring a digger driver in Champaign County, Ohio. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances 6+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
