Ironing operator • Cass County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Cass County, Texas. You will be based at a garment factory. Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
