Earthmoving equipment operator • McLean County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in McLean County, Kentucky. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. On a typical shift you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
