Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads 5+ years on the tools preferred.
