Tower crane operator — Ibi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Ibi, Taraba State. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
